Do our best to raise an animal who is an excellent forager, mother, and meat goat. The why is also simple. A large percentage of our community lives in extreme poverty. Our goal is to give half our kids away for food each year. We sell the other half to support our "living food bank.” Our goats wellbeing is important, so we raise them on pasture and traditional grasses during the summer and grass/alfalfa hay grown on the farm during the winter.
